Program Description:
CIPA builds your skills and capabilities in computer networking.
A multi-vendor approach is used (e.g. Cisco®, Huawei®, HP®, ZTE® etc) so that participant will be able to work on a variety of different types of equipment.
CIPA will lead you through a range of practical “hands on” exercises on “live” networks to build your understanding of how computer networks actually work in practice.In addition, you will learn to use the WireShark analyzer as part of this course.

  3. The IP layer.

  4. The Upper Layers.

  5. Applications & Services.

  6. Introduction to Network Security.

Hands-on competence-based assessment (2 hours duration) + continual competence assessment during course + Final Exam

 
What is the core competency do I get by earning this certificate?
Participant will be able to;
  • Manage a computer network.

  • Configure & validate network properties & settings on multiple vendor platforms.

  • Plan IPv4 addressing schemes & subnet masks.

  • Troubleshoot networks using a range of tools including a network analyser.

  • Understand security concepts and issues related to data communication networks.

  • Apply commands across key vendors.
