Program Description:

As part of the component of Autodesk Building Design Suite, another sub-discipline for Revit is Revit MEP, which stands for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing. Revit MEP training is split into two different disciplines, Mechanical and Electrical, tailored to fit the needs of electrical and mechanical engineers in the construction industry.

Module: Software Training

USING TEMPLATE

  • Link model

  • Create floor plan

  • Setting the project view

MECHANICAL

  • Add and modify mechanical equipment,

  • air terminal,

  • supply duct, return duct, mechanical accessories and fitting

  • Sizing duct manually and automatically

  • Tagging the duct and modify the tag

  • Add Heating and Cooling load

  • Duct generate layout and duct error

  • Interference, coordination review, legend

PLUMBING

  • Add and modify piping fixture, domestic supply

  • piping, sanitary piping, piping equipment

  • Create piping system

  • Add and modify pipe accessories

  • Tag the pipe and modify the tag

 FIRE PROTECTION

  • Create view for sprinkler

  • Create and modify sprinkler

  • pipe type

  • Model and modify main and branch line

  • Tag item and edit the tag

WORKFLOW

  • Create modify detail view, sheet, schedule

  • Import CAD file, detail

  • Working with text and dimension

  • Modify technique

Exam: Autodesk Certified Professional Exam

Prerequisite:
Knowledge in 3D design using 3D software such as AutoCAD.
