Program Description:
The Certified IP Engineer (CIPE) is a vendor independent benchmark of your skills and capabilities in IP Routing and Switching. Builds skills to plan, implement and troubleshoot across a multi-vendor network. Covers switching, VLANs, VLAN trunking, RIP, OSPF and BGP routing protocol configuration & troubleshooting.

  1. Introduction

  2. Implementing VLANs

  3. Theory of Routing Protocols

  4. Implementing Static Routes

  5. Implementing RIP

  6. Implementing OSPF

  7. Implementing BGP

7 Days

 
Prerequisite:
Participant must have Certified IP Associate (CIPA) course first.
 
Training Method:

Hands-on, practical competence-based training

 
Assessment Methods:

Hands-on competence-based assessment (2 hours duration) + continual competence assessment during course + Final Exam

 
What is the core competency do I get by earning this certificate?
Participant will able to;
  • Separate traffic streams using VLANs

  • Deploy and configure switches & routers

  • Configure, test and troubleshoot OSPF and BGP routing

  • Setup interior & exterior routing protocols
