Program Description:
The primary objective of GMPs for Halal Pharmaceuticals is to avoid cross-contamination by non-halal or najs premises, utilities, equipment, materials and ingredients.
  • All materials must be clearly defined with evidence of complying with Sharia requirements.

  • All facilities and resources for Halal compliance must be provided, including availability of sufficient qualified personnel, adequate premises and services, dedicated equipment, materials, containers and labels, approved procedures and instructions, and dedicated storage and transport.

  • All records of manufacturing, including deviations, as well as complaints and a system for vigilance, recall and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) shall be appropriately adopted for halal traceability purposes.

  • This course targeting audience who has zero background of halal industry or audience who is new to Halal and planning to embark the industry.

  • The do’s and don’ts towards Halal Implementation.

  • Method of monitoring effectiveness of Halal internal process.

  • Emphasize on element of how to maintain Halal certification.

  • Aims to produce a competent halal trainer in both area of Shariah and technical.

  9. Fatwa regarding the use of gelatine and alcohol in pharmaceutical products.

  10. Fundamental for Halal pharmaceutical in GMP.

  11. Pharmaceutical Inspection Co-operation Scheme (PIC/S).

  12. Malaysian Halal infrastructure.

  13. Malaysian Halal certification.

  14. The National Medicine policy.

  15. Malaysian Halal Certification Procedure (MHCP).

  16. Identifying Malaysian Halal Logo.

  17. Malaysia Halal Pharmaceuticals Certification Requirement.
