Program Description:
The program is a complete 6-month package for developing and upskilling specialized skills in participants that are highly in demand in the Malaysian rail industry, and inculcates both classroom teaching and on the job training, individual assessments, grant of license and certificates. It is designed for bringing about a two-fold outcome, namely:
• It will create a breakthrough in the career of its participants by enabling them to gain employment in the railway industry and obtain a higher job position and salary within a shorter span of time; and
• It will provide a quick and competitive supply of Malaysian human capital to the rail industry reducing over dependence of Foreign Expertise.

2.On the Job Training
On-the-job supervision by industry experts along with recording of work tasks in logbooks, with the purpose of giving hands-on work opportunity to participants to enable them to offer immediate productivity to the industry.
Duration:
6 Months
Prerequisite:

Malaysian only.

SPM up to Diploma.

Unskilled / Fresh candidate.

Age: 18 – 30 years old.
Training Method:
Classroom Training (Theories), On-the-job Training (Practical).
Assessment Methods:

Stage 1: Pre-Implementation.

Stage 2: Classroom Training (3 months).

Stage 3: On Job Training (3 months).

Stage 4: Award of Certificate.
What is the core competency do I get by earning this certificate?
At the end of this course, the participant will have all theory and practical knowledge about railway’s industry. Participant will be competent enough to work as railway technician (Rolling stock, Communications, Electrician,Track).
